I’ve written about the morning routine I follow to start my day off on the right foot.
For the past year or so, I’ve also been following a specific evening routine. This is important to help me unwind from the day and lower my cortisol. I also think it’s one of the main reasons why I’m able to fall asleep so quickly every night.

- 8:05: My beautiful wife and I like to watch shows like Designated Survivor and Travelers. This is our time to catch one or two episodes.
- 9:30: Finish the show, say goodnight to my bride, and head upstairs to read for about 20 minutes.
- 9:50: Say a few quick prayers, then lights out
By following this routine, I’m almost always asleep by 10 or 15 minutes after 10.
