People are the foundation of a successful business.

People in leadership positions do exactly that: they lead their people and manage processes. They set strategy and inspire their team to deliver.

People in individual contributor roles do the tactical, operational work that moves the business forward.

The signs of a great leader?

A percentage of their team are so good they get recruited to bigger and better opportunities, another percentage rise within the company’s ranks to their own leadership positions, while those who love working as individual contributors enjoy a quality of life rarely found even in today’s corporate environments.

Leaders are responsible for their people. Good leaders understand what motivates the people they serve.
